I finally bought my plane ticket to Costa Rica! I went to buy it after my last Final but with packing, moving, trucks breaking down on the side of the highway, abandoning the damn truck in a parking lot and borrowing a different truck (all in one weekend) it got postponed three days. In those three days the price jumped up 300 dollars! Thank God I didn't decide to wait it a week!
From what I can tell, the west side of the country got screwed when it comes to flying into Costa Rica. Many people from the east coast will arrive and leave at the San Jose Airport in the early afternoon while us west coasters will get there late in the day and leave Costa Rica super early.
I will leave Spokane at 8:30am on July 2nd and get to San Jose at 6:30pm. Which is a million times better than my fight back to the U.S. I have to leave Costa Rica at 6:25 in the morning just to get to Denver and have a six hour layover. That will be seriously lousy.
However, I am still so excited and wish I was leaving tomorrow instead of in 46 days. I don't want to wait!
In other news, I won a small scholarship which will help lower the loans I am pulling in order to finance this shindig. YAY! Go Me!!
I think you forgot to add, pushing a dead truck 1 1/2 miles to the parking lot in that same weekend!!!!
